ESG EXPERT CEE Region

Warsaw, Wilanów

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensures that ESG related aspects are embedded in the organization on strategic and operational level, relevant KPIs are established and monitored.
  • Co-creates ESG strategy for the region.
  • Co-ordinates design and implementation of ESG related activities in the organization and monitors  individual actions and deliverables of the projects. This includes but is not limited to:
    • monitoring of sourcing guidelines implementation & execution by Purchasing Department allowing Region to comply with the regulation for sustainable supply chain.
    • overlooking of EUDR regulations and the compliance of inbound/outbound of goods in Material Management allowing Region to comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation.
    • helping business to navigate through carbon footprint calculation and understanding of SBTi targets, preparing Region for CO2 reduction and reporting journey; overlooking of implementation of SBTi actions by relevant functions.
  • Identifies, assesses and escalates risks of non-compliance with ESG related standards
  • Provides training in ESG area to the organization. Promotes ESG awareness in the organization. 
  • Co-ordinates ESG related data collection and assists Controlling in NFR reporting in the area of ESG

 

Our requirements:

  • Knowledge of ESG regulations, standards and reporting solutions
  • A Master’s degree or professional certifications in sustainability or ESG would be a plus
  • Experience in ESG, preferably in FMCG sector
  • Stay aware of global ESG trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Project Management Skills
  • Excellent communication across the organization
  • Fluent English min. B2
  • Proactivity & Initiative
  • Problem Solving
